General: Upright habit and large, lilac flowers above robust, silvery-green foliage. Lavender grows best with moderate moisture, well-drained soil and plenty of bright sunlight. Avoid over watering.

Ornamental Uses: Melissa Lilac, enjoys such a soft, powdery color that it looks almost edible, like a lilac marshmallow! Great for formal or informal edging along walkways, raised walls, and borders; also planted in beds, rock gardens, and in mass planting.
