General: Sometimes called jagged lavender because of its serrated fragrant leaves. Spikes of blue flowers. Lavender grows best with moderate moisture, well-drained soil and plenty of bright sunlight. Avoid over-watering.

Ornamental Uses: A fragrant herb with finely-divided, fern-like gray-green foliage is topped with spikes of contrasting dark purple flowers. A tough, reliable garden performer in borders and rock gardens. Evergreen perennial sub-shrub.
