Description:

General: Upright mound of aromatic, fine-textured foliage with tall stems of yellow blooms. This is a very popular and early blooming variety; both culinary and ornamental.

Culinary Uses: Commonly used when pickling to add flavor. It is also frequently added fresh to various fish dishes, soups, potato salads, yogurts and dips. May be used as a spice when dried. Most commonly used in German, Greek, and Scandinavian cooking.

Medicinal Uses: Contains significant amounts of vitamin A, iron, manganese, and calcium. It has also been cited to assist digestion problems as well as reduce inflammation, particularly of the throat and mouth. It has also been cited as a diuretic, assisting in cleansing the urinary tract.

Ornamental Uses: Leaves are feathery and delicate and are often described as fern-like. It's small yellow flowers grow on an umbel. Sports bluish tint to its foliage.
