Zone: 5-9
Height: 12-18"
Description:

General: Vera Lavender, the original species of English lavender, has fragrant flowers that dry well and neat, bushy growth. It is also one of the hardiest of all lavenders. Lavender is one of the most versatile herbs ranging from medicinal, as well as cosmetic, aromatherapy, culinary, and decorative purposes.

Ornamental Uses: Silvery grey leaves provide a perfect contrast to the long spikes of dusky purple flowers that smother the plants through the summer months. Ideal for edging borders or as a low hedge. The flowers can be cut and dried to be used in potpourri, they also make a very nice fresh cut flower.
